Farnon,\nRosemary, 72, passed away on October 11, 2020 at her residence at Parkhouse Nursing Home in Royersford, PA. Rosemary was the widow of Anthony W. Farnon Sr., with whom she spent 44 years of marriage. She was the mother of Anthony W. Jr. (Kate) and Timothy P. (Florence).\nRosemary was a proud resident of the City of Philadelphia, until the time of Tony's death when she moved to Parkhouse Nursing Home in Royersford, PA, where she was cared for by their exceptional staff, to whom the Farnon family is extremely grateful.\nThroughout her life, Rosemary was an advocate for all those she knew. She graduated from nursing school and served as a nurse for 25 years. Rosemary's advocacy extended beyond the medical field, as she served as the President of the Juniata Park Civic Association, a member of the Board of Tenet Hospital Parkview, and as an Aide to Congressman Bob Borsky, who formerly commended Rosemary's work on the floor of the House of Representatives on July 1, 1999. Rosemary's career of service ended with her retirement from the Philadelphia Housing Authority in 2013.\nAside from her immediate family and her work, Rosemary loved to spend time with her extended family during holidays and down the shore in Wildwood N.J. She often spoke fondly of her time with her in-laws Joe and Kathy Farnon and Steven and Veronica McCusker and their children.\nRelatives and friends are invited to her Viewing & Funeral Saturday 9:30-10:30 AM at Our Lady of Calvary Church, 11024 Knights Rd.
