Robert A. Olimpo, affectionately known as Bob to family and friends, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 14, 2021, with his loving family by his side. He was 85. Bob spent his career working as a driver for the Coca-Cola Bottling Company for 32 years, and, over the years, was recognized for his outstanding service to the company. Upon retirement, Bob drove a school bus. Children, families and school staff loved to be greeted by "Mr. Bob" when he arrived at their bus stop. Bob loved to sing. He was a member of the Incarnation of Our Lord's Men and Boys' Choir, and in later years, he sang with the Sounds of Liberty Chorale, Philadelphia Chapter, where he received recognition as Barbershopper of the year. Bob was a faithful man and a member of the Holy Name Society, serving as an Usher and Eucharistic Minister at Maternity BVM Parish in Philadelphia, Pa.\nBob is the beloved husband of Ellen R. (nee Yost). He is the cherished father of Gene, Paul, Ellen (Greg) Green, Robert (Patti), Janet (Lou) Palmarini and Michele (Joe) Mohr. He is the beloved grandfather of Kelly, Emily, Sean, Ryan, Nick, Grace, Michael and Audrey and loving great-grandfather of Alexandra, Aubrey and Jude. Dear brother of the late Joseph (Mary) and the late Donald (Dolly).
