Nancy Ann Mendelzon (nee Dugan) passed away on April 15, 2021 at the age of 67. She was a lifelong resident of Philadelphia and a graduate of Little Flower Catholic High School for Girls, Class of '71.\nNancy spent over 25 years as a Restaurant Manager at the former Pikkles Plus restaurants in Center City. She was hard working, dedicated and put her heart and soul into her staff and customers. Nancy was like a mom to many of her staff members both in and out of work.\nMom's home was always open to anyone needing a place to sleep, a meal to eat, or just someone to talk to.\nNancy greatly enjoyed crafting and lovingly crocheted blankets for each member of her family. She also made and donated hats and scarves for the homeless. Nancy's crafting talents extended to making handmade decorations and favors for countless family events as well as every holiday.\nNancy's favorite holiday was Christmas. She meticulously decorated her home inside and out with her handmade decorations, displayed in a new theme each year, much to the delight of her neighbors and grandchildren.\nNancy is survived by her son Jeffery (Stephanie) Mendelzon, her daughter Cindy (Jason) Laue, and her grandchildren: Desirae, Zandy, Gavin, Zissa, Sagan, Ripley, Maximilian, and Piper.
