Maryann Johncola

Maryann Johncola (nee Riddle), age 83, of Philadelphia, passed away at home, surrounded by her loving family, on April 10, 2025 after fighting cancer bravely for the past 2 1/2 years.

Maryann loved to be surrounded by her family and enjoyed going to parties and socializing with her friends. When it came to her family, she cherished the Holidays. Maryann liked to cook, and she would prepare a meal so that they could all gather around the dinner table and spend the Holiday together. She will always be remembered for her stuffing recipe that she made at Thanksgiving. Christmas was Maryann's favorite Holiday and she made sure to spoil her family with presents. Her house was beautifully decorated and she baked the best cookies. When she wasn't entertaining, she never passed on an invitation to go to the casino.

Wife of the late Anthony J. Sr. Cherished mother of Anthony J. Jr. (Michelle), Michael (Pamela) and Stephen (Donna). Beloved grandmother of Amber (Joey), Alyssa (Joseph), Stephen, Sydnie (Josh), Dominique, Amanda (Jason), Alex, Michael (Cait), Kayla, Alexis (Carmen) Taylor, Paige (Justin), Anthony, Amelia and Anthony III. Devoted GiGi of Sophia, Asher and Mateo. Loving daughter of the late Joseph J. and Marcella (nee Jaskowiak) Riddle. Dear sister of the late Joseph (the late Barbara) Riddle. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Fluehr Funeral Home, 11010 Knights Rd., Phila. and Tuesday April 22, 2025 from 9:30 - 10:45 AM at Our Lady of Calvary Church, 11024 Knights Rd. Phila. Funeral Mass 11 AM.
