Mary Therese Donahue

Mary Therese Donahue, age 94, of Flourtown, formerly of Philadelphia, passed away peacefully at St. Joseph Villa on March 2, 2025.

Born and raised in Philadelphia, Mary grew up in Olney and lived in St. Ambrose Parish. She loved to travel. Whether it was a day trip to the beach or flying to Ireland, Mary was ready for any adventure. She liked to dance and in her quiet time enjoyed reading. She was also very skilled at knitting and crocheting and would make baby blankets for nieces, nephews, as well as grandnieces and grandnephews.

Cherished daughter of the late Joseph H. and late Catherine (nee Hawe) Donahue. Beloved sister of Catherine (the late William) Goodman, Sr. Josephine Donahue S.S.J., the late Sarah "Sally" (the late Stewart) Hindman, the late Susanna "Nancy" (the late Howard) Bradley and the late Joseph Donahue. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing and funeral on Tuesday March 11, 2025, from 10 – 11 AM at Our Lady of Calvary Church, 11024 Knights Rd. Phila. Funeral Mass 11 AM.
