Mary M. Cooper

Mary M.Cooper (nee Powaserys), age 70, of Wellsboro, formerly of Philadelphia, passed away on November 2, 2026 surrounded by her loving family.

Mary loved being with her family and cherished all the memories that she made with them. From the time her children were young, she always had a camera or video recorder at every family function. Her home had pictures everywhere and she had plenty of family movies. To everyone that knew her, she was a social butterfly and was always very affectionate. Even when she didn't know you, that never stopped her from giving you a hug!

Mary liked to be "on the go" and enjoyed being outdoors. Trips to parks, the beach and Longwood Gardens were some of her favorite destinations. The day wasn't complete without a stop at Dunkin Donuts for a Pumpkin Iced Coffee. She also liked to care for her plants and collect pens which she was always quick to give as gifts to her family and friends.

Devoted partner of William F. Sullivan. Cherished mother of Melissa (Ian) Wood, Keith Sullivan and the late Jamie (Joseph III) DeEugenio. Loving grandmother of Alyssa DeEugenio and Joseph DeEugenio IV. Dear sister of John (the late Colleen) Powaserys and the late Wesley "Vincent" (the late Elizabeth) Powsaerys. Beloved sister-in-law of Mary (the late Michael) Sullivan. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
