Margaret Cmiel

Margaret Mary Cmiel, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at the age of 75.

Margaret, or "Peg" as she was affectionately known, was a resident of Philadelphia for the last 40 years. Peg was hardworking and dedicated 35 years working as an LPN. In the early years of her career, she worked on the floor at St. Mary's Hospital and later spent 20 years working as a home healthcare nurse, most recently for Bayada. In her free time, Peg truly enjoyed spending time with her family and looked forward to "girls weekends" with friends down the shore.

Margaret was predeceased by her parents, Evangeline Lyman and Casimer Cmiel, her dear cousin, Mary Laura, and many other dear family members and friends.

Peg is the loving mother of Josh (Kyoko) Cmiel and Denise (Tracy) Townsend Erickson; cherished grandma of Aiden, Sky, Regina and Justin; and dear sister of Richard and Stanley Cmiel. She will also be deeply missed by her nieces, nephews and many loving friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet her family on Friday, March 6, 2026, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the T. J. Fluehr Funeral Home, 11010 Knights Road, Philadelphia, PA 19154, followed by her Memorial Service at 2:00 PM. Interment will be held privately.
