Joan M. (Wingert) Dowling Obituary (1930 - 2017)

Joan M. Dowling Joan M. Dowling a 62 year resident of Nottingham Village section of Bensalem, PA passed away suddenly Saturday June 17, 2017 at her home. She was 87. Joan was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed trips to the Jersey shore beaches, and walking on the boardwalk. There were many more things she enjoyed but, the most important thing in her life was the love for her family, especially, her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Tom, a son Dan and her parents John and Emma Wingert. Joan will be sadly missed by her children Tom (Judy), John (Denise), Joan (Brian) and Tim (Michele); a sister, " Sister Janet Wingert" CSR; 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren and her very dear friend Fran Agostarola; along with many friends, neighbors. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects to the family on Tuesday, June 27th from 9:30 am to time of her funeral mass at 11:00 am at St. Ephrem's Catholic Church 5400 Hulmeville Rd, Bensalem, PA. Inurnment will follow in Washington Crossing National Cemetery Newtown, PA. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to St. Ephrem's Church in her name at the address above. T.J.
