James Watt

James Patrick Watt, Jr., passed away after a brief illness on January 22, 2025, at the age of 77.

A lifelong resident of Philadelphia, Jim made friends anywhere he went. He was hardworking, selfless and always helping others. Whether it was lending a hand, mentoring, or encouraging you to be the best version of yourself, Jim left his mark on everyone. He spent many years working for the School District of Philadelphia. In his free time, he loved playing golf and listening to Jimmy Buffett music.

Beloved husband of 56 years to Regina (nee Wallace); loving father of Regina Helen Wallace, James P. Watt, III (Melissa) and Cheryl Scheidler; devoted Pop Pop of Ashley, Gabrielle, Bailey, Jake (Shannon), Erin, Ava, Gianna and Great Pop Pop of Mason, Gary, Carter and Xander. Jim is also survived by his Goddaughter, Kelly Pierce and Brother-in-law, Michael Pratt as well as numerous extended family members.

He was predeceased by sisters, Mary Walsh, Bonnie Evans and Patricia Pratt.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of his family.
