Ellyn Booth

Ellyn M. Booth, (nee Kuehnly), passed away at Monroe Village, Monroe NJ on Friday, October 11, 2024 a few days shy of her 85th birthday.

She is survived by her incredible husband of over 61 years, Milton “Bud” Booth. Cherished mother of Michael Booth, Tewksbury, NJ; Brian Booth, Doylestown, PA, and Glenn Booth & his wife Evette, Long Valley, NJ. Devoted grandmother of Kayla, Eric, Hunter, Heather, Sean, Olivia, Carolina, Michael & Madison. Ellyn was the oldest of 16 Children to John C Brady & Marie Kuehnly Brady. Her brothers were Jack, Jerry, Ricky, Jimmy, Danny, Timmy, Jeff, Billy, Scott & Kevin and her sisters were Kathy, Penny, Lynn, Pat & Pam.

She was graduate of Bishop McDonnell High School, Brooklyn, NY and then attended the Catherine Gibbs Business School. After raising her sons, she went back to school to become a paralegal and worked in Sparta, NJ with Honig & Honig for many years. Ellyn & Bud were long-time members of Patten Point Yacht Club in Long Branch, NJ. She really enjoyed boating and seeing the world with the people she loved. Some of her most memorable vacations included trips to Bethany Beach, Nantucket, Long Beach Island, all the Caribbean Islands, Europe, Scotland, England and especially Ireland.

Her family will always have incredible memories of Napa with Ellyn. Ellyn had a life truly worth celebrating. She inspired everyone around her to be better. She loved deeply but expected the best from those she loved. And we happily gave it.
