Dorothy Dillon

Dorothy A. Dillon (nee Fountain), of Philadelphia, passed away at her home on January 17, 2025
at the age of 93.

Beloved wife of 75 years to John J. "Jack" Dillon; loving mother of Diane, Mark (Sharron), Sean
(Maureen), Colleen, Kevin (Barbara) and Christopher (Jennifer); devoted Mom-Mom of 20
grandchildren and great Mom-Mom of 23 great grandchildren. Dorothy is also survived by her
sister-in-law, Margaret "Peg"; Dillon (late Michael); brother-in-law, Jack Haney (late Anna Marie)
and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her beloved son, John M. "Jackie" Dillon, her grandson, Ryan
Dillon and her sister, Elizabeth "Betty" Moore.

In her free time, Dorothy loved cheering on the Phillies and also enjoyed going to the opera,
plays and movies with her husband and friends. She was very active in the Catholic Church and
worked for and with Our Lady of Calvary Church and other Catholic Organizations.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet her family on Friday from 9:00 AM until
10:45 AM at Our Lady of Calvary Church, 11024 Knights Road, Philadelphia, PA 19154, followed
by her Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment will immediately follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
