Daniel Ashton Rymshaw, age 82, passed away peacefully early on the morning of April 6, 2020 in Philadelphia, PA. Daniel is survived by his wife of 53 years, Barbara; his son, Dan Jr., and daughter-in-law, Jaicy; his daughter, Lisa; and his granddaughter, Gabriella. He is also survived by his youngest brother, Peter G. Rymshaw. He now rests in peace with his mother, Edythe G. Rymshaw; his father, Daniel Z. Rymshaw; and his brother, Bruce T. Rymshaw.\nDan was born in Philadelphia, PA. He graduated from Germantown High School. Dan worked as an aerospace inspector for Teleflex (now Triumph Controls) in North Wales, PA for 42 years. He enjoyed being active in his union, U.A.W. Local 1039, where he was well-known and respected.\nDan's favorite hobbies included reading, discussing history, listening to a wide variety of music, traveling with his wife, and watching sports - especially the Eagles and the Phillies. He also loved to watch the Philadelphia Mummers' Parade each New Year.\nDan was deeply loved by his family and friends for his kind spirit, his intelligence, and his sense of humor. He had a special way of remembering what was important to each person he met.
