Gallagher, Christopher\nIt is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Christopher Gallagher, age 52, after a valiant 7-month fight with pancreatic cancer. Chris passed on January 21, 2021 at Vitas in Nazareth Hospital.\nBorn in Philadelphia, PA, Chris resided in Bensalem, PA with his wife of almost 25 years, Kelly (Bonyun) and their two children, Alexis, and Conner. Chris is also survived by his parents, Diane and John Gallagher and his brother Tim.\nChris, a graduate of Temple University, served as the Helpline Director for the Philadelphia Corporation of Aging. Chris took great pride in his work and could be seen always answering emails at all times of the day. Chris was by far a family man and always put his family first. Although he was concerned about the effects of the pandemic on his family and friends, Chris cherished the time he had to spend with his wife and children during the quarantine. His daily walks with their furry family member, Mason, were special as well. Those that knew Chris, knew that these times were most important to him. \nRelatives and friends may offer condolences to his family on Friday from 9:30-11:00 AM at Our Lady of Calvary Church 11024 Knights Road. Private Funeral Mass for Immediate Family & Close Friends 11:00 AM. Attendees must wear masks & observe proper social distancing guidelines during the services. In lieu of flowers, it would mean a great deal to the Gallagher family, for donations to be made to a scholarship fund for Alexis and Conner. Donations can be made to Education Fund for the Children of Christopher Gallagher and mailed to the funeral home at 11010 Knights Road Philadelphia, PA 19154.
