Carrie Lynn Marko (nee Kolodziejczak), age 43, of Trevose, passed away unexpectedly on April 3, 2023. \n\nBorn and raised in Philadelphia, Carrie was a talented child. She was an excellent student. A big fan of music, she played violin in the Benjamin Rush Middle School band and enjoyed playing the piano. Carrie also played softball. As an adult, she continued to excel in her working career. She worked for the IRS for 25 years where she was a tax examiner. Over the years, she started to write lesson plans for new employees as well as writing plans for existing employees on how to implement new procedures. Eventually, she was teaching classes on the IRS policies and procedures. Carrie married her husband Joe on a beautiful beach on St. Thomas. They added to their family with the birth of her daughter Abby, who was her greatest joy. They both loved taking walks at Playwicki Park to feed the deer. Carrie had many friends who were amazed by her ability to remember lines from "Seinfeld" and "The Office". Her favorite was "That's What She Said". An animal lover, she spent countless hours volunteering at the Women’s Humane Society.\n\nLoving wife of Joseph A.. Beloved mother of Abigail Mae and Andrew J. Cherished daughter of Skip and Helen (nee Poulterer). Dear sister of Amy (Steve) Franks.
