Golas\nBarbara Anne (nee Braski). Aug. 14, 2022. Age 85. Barbara was born in Philadelphia in 1936 to father Frank and mother Anne. She had 2 sisters Joan and Frances, and a brother Joseph, and lived in Port Richmond Philadelphia. She attended Little Flower High School, and married William Golas in 1958. Barbara and William settled in the Torresdale section of Philadelphia, and had 4 children, William, Christopher (Cathy), Andrew and the late Maryanne, as well as 2 grandchildren Quinn and Jacob. Barbara was an avid reader and was rarely seen without a book on her nightstand. She enjoyed family gatherings, and loved to cook for guests whenever possible. As an avid polka dancer, she won many dance contests with her late husband William in Clifton Heights, Bayway and other venues.\n\nBarbara worked as a legal secretary, and did paralegal work for several Philadelphia law firms in her career. Barbara enjoyed her retirement by going to the beach in New Jersey and Delaware, and fulfilled her dream to visit Italy. \n\nRelatives and friends are invited to offer condolences to Her family on Fri.
