Anne Marie Smith

Anne Marie (nee Rowan) Smith, passed away on Thursday, October 8, 2026, at the age of 86.

Born and raised in the Fishtown section of Philadelphia, Anne was a longtime former resident of the Parkwood section before moving to Bensalem. She was a graduate of Holy Name School and went on to further her education in Business School.

Anne was a proud and dedicated homemaker who truly enjoyed raising her family on Hollins Road. She spent many years as the owner/operator of the 7-11 Store in Mayfair, alongside her husband, Walton. Together they taught their children the importance of hard work and socialization. Most of all, Anne will be lovingly remembered as a good mom who was always there for her family.

Anne was predeceased by her beloved husband, Walton H. Smith, Sr and her parents, Gertrude (nee Kupiec) and Raymond Rowan.

Anne will also be deeply missed by her sister-in-law Gail Wilson, her niece Judy Bierman (Dave), and many friends including the Hollins Road neighbors.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, from 9:00 AM until 10:15 AM at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 1731 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem, PA 19020. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 AM. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of her family.

Florists, all deliveries must be made to the church on Tuesday by 8 AM.
