RULLO
Amato J. Rullo, Jr., lifelong Philadelphia resident, passed away
suddenly on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at the age of 66. "Bomber" as he
was endearingly known to many, was predeceased by his parents Grace E.
(nee Marcucci) and Amato J. Rullo, Sr. Devoted husband of Donna M.
(nee McKinstry); loving father of Jennifer (Jimmy) Nagle and Jaime
(Kevin) Noble; cherished Poppy of Anthony, Raya, Xavier, Cruz, Jenna,
Ava, Kevin and Finnegan. He will also be sadly missed by his sisters
Theresa (Hank) Vitullo, Helen (late Jimmy) Haney, Florence (Marty)
Muller and Catherine (Bobby) Muller, numerous nieces, nephews, great
nieces, great nephews and a host of family and friends. Bomber was a
longtime passionate fan of the Yankees and Notre Dame, often calling
others with friendly banter during games! He truly loved cheering on
all of his grandchildren, and will forever be their biggest fan. To
say he loved to cook is an understatement. Bomber's famous meatballs
were a staple at any get together and no one ever left hungry. He was
always ready to help others at a moment's notice, and usually that
included a home cooked meal. He was selfless, caring and will
lovingly be remembered for his irreplaceable smile and infectious
laugh. Relatives and friends are invited to offer condolences to his
family from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM on Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at Saint
Dominic Church, 8504 Frankford Avenue, Phila, PA, followed by his
Funeral Mass 10:30 AM. Interment Private. In lieu of flowers,
donations in Bomber's memory may be made to the Tunnels to Towers
Foundation, 2361 Hylan Blvd., Staten Island, NY 10306 or at t2t.org.
