Alfred R. Dinter, Jr., age 80, of Philadelphia, passed away on March 28, 2021. He was preceded in death by his father, Alfred R. Dinter, Sr, and mother, Margaret. Raised within the 5th & Allegheny section of Philadelphia, he graduated from Mastbaum Technical High in 1958. He met his wife, Millie in 1958 and were married in 1963. They started their family in 1966 and raised 3 children in the Parkwood section of Northeast Philadelphia.\nBeloved husband of Mildred (nee Jacober). Devoted father of Alfred III (Julia), Kimberly (John) Durie and Melissa (Chris) Nader. Devoted grandfather of Johnny, Eric, Madison and Gabriella. Dear brother of James (Cathy) Dinter and Janice (Dennis) Campise. \nEveryone who spent time around Al, knew he was the avid outdoorsman. He loved to both hunt and fish. He enjoyed spending time with his hunting friends at their cabin in central, Pa. He was also a big fan of the Philadelphia Flyers and the Philadelphia Eagles. In the summer, Al and his wife, Millie, would spend time at Ocean City, Md. where he kept his boat for fishing. Al cherished time spent with his many friends and his family vacations, especially the holiday gatherings with his children and grandchildren. Al was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend that will be missed.\nRelatives and friends are invited to offer condolences to his family, Saturday, April 10, 2021 from 9:30-11:00 A.M. at St. Anselm Church, 12670 Dunks Ferry Rd.
